This bracelet was designed and created in response to a request for a special design for the Masterclass section of the Australian Beading magazine from the Editor. Consequently this beadwork bracelet design was born, originally it was 'Untitled' but for the purposes of this tutorial I named it simply 'Vintage Button' Beadwork Bracelet. This design has been one of my most popular.
Off loom bead weaving stitches utilised in this piece are Herringbone, Ladder Stitch, Even Count Peyote and freeform beading. While the tutorial does not teach these stitches I feel that the photographs can give the reader a good understanding of how these stitches are performed. All is explained through the use of photographs as the tutorial includes 23 colour step-by-step photographs and detailed written instructions, plus Tips and Notes for you to create your own version of this gorgeous bracelet.
The design focals are the large 30mm Swarovski Cosmic Ring and the gorgeous vintage shell button; of course the design can be adapted to use other buttons or beads as you so desire.
