The tutorial assumes the reader has a working knowledge of Peyote, Picot Stitch and Single Bead Edging Stitches. However basic instructions for picot and single bead edging are included in the project. Doll face cabochons are available through my Etsy Store (www.midesign.etsy.com) there are several styles available. The doll cabochons are a really fun way to play with beads, you can use bits and pieces from your stash to create a unique personality for each doll cabochon. MATERIALS LIST • Doll face cabochon (available at www.midesign.etsy.com ) This sample doll is ‘Veronica’ • Two (or more) vintage glass flowers • Lucite leaf beads • Delicas size 11 (for the head scarf) • Seed Beads size 11(for the first row of the head scarf ‘hem’) • Seed Beads size 15 Japanese not Czech (contrast head scarf hem & Picots) • Seed Beads size 15 (Japanese not Czech) (for the beaded hair) • Scrap piece of Lacy Stiff StuffTM • Scrap piece of UltrasuedeTM • Brooch back TOOLS LIST  Beading Matt  Size 12 beading needles  Polyethylene Braided Beading Thread.
